JPAL specializes in designing, building, and operating student accommodations and hostels in the US, UK, and Asia. Balibbu is our newest chain of hostels in Bali. Our first location is in Ubud and has quickly become the highest rated hostel in Bali is now currently hiring receptionist.

We are looking for a receptionist who is responsible for the following:

  • reception duties (checking in and checking out guests, collecting payments, answering phones)
  • light cleaning (assisting the housekeeping staff)
  • light administrative tasks
  • running errands
  • general household maintenance (replacing light bulbs, organizing cabinets, moving small items, etc.)
  • answering questions
  • coordinating events for the guests & manager

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or ability required.

  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out moderately complex, multi-step instructions and make appropriate independent decisions as necessary
  • Have the personality and flair to communicate with others in a professional and helpful manner both
    face-to-face and on the telephone, as well as the flexibility to adapt to all tasks within the office and the willingness to assist others
  • Deal with difficult situations in a calm and professional manner and have the flexibility to adapt to a range of tasks
  • A well-presented team player, with a loyal and cooperative attitude
